Have Fun, Enjoy Nature, Win Prizes at Poker Run

The
third annual Poker Run, sponsored by Cornerstone PEO, will take place
from 8 a.m. to noon, April 13, at the Black Run Preserve, in Evesham.
This unique event offers participants an exciting blend of fitness
and fun as they embark on either an 8-mile bike route or a 4.2-mile
run route through picturesque landscapes.
Starting and finishing at Rice Elementary School, in Marlton, the Poker Run features five checkpoints along each course where participants select a playing card, culminating in a thrilling poker hand showdown at the finish line. Prizes will be awarded to the best hands following poker rules, ensuring a delightful conclusion to a morning of enjoyment.
“Whether you’re a seasoned runner or cyclist, this noncompetitive and untimed event welcomes all to partake in the festivities,” says John Volpa, Friends of the Black Run Preserve (FBRP) founder and chair. “Join us for camaraderie, nature and a dash of card-playing excitement at the Black Run Preserve Poker Run—an event not to be missed.”
Cost: Entry fee is $25 ($30 day of the event) or $20 for FBRP members with preregistration. Location: 50 Crown Royal Pkwy. For more information or to register, visit www.bit.ly/pokerrun2024.
