Letter from the Publisher

February! What better time to celebrate all things heart-related!

Of course, every year on Valentine’s Day, we have an opportunity to express our love and appreciation to our friends, family and significant others.

But it’s also a great time to think about our physical heart and embrace good habits of eating heart-healthy foods, exercising regularly and getting regular check-ups.

And, let’s not forget to honor our spiritual heart … the doorway to experiencing a deeper relationship with our True Source. Spend more time in prayer and meditation and engage in activities which bring joy and peace.

Taking care of our hearts in all these ways can help us lead healthier, more heart-centered living.

Heart-centered living is an approach to life that emphasizes compassion and kindness in all aspects. It is based on the idea that true happiness and fulfillment come from connecting with our inner selves and those around us in meaningful ways.

How to Get Started:

1. Practice Self-Love: Before you can truly be heart-centered with others, you must connect with your inner self. Be sure to spend time each day practicing self-care by nurturing your physical, mental and emotional health.

2. Find Your Purpose: What truly matters to you? Focus on that and pursue it with total passion.

3. Connect with Others: Reach out. Spend time cultivating relationships and building bridges to the people you share life’s space with.

4. Live in Gratitude: Each day, be thankful and appreciate the world. Find small moments of joy and express your gratitude.

Here are Some Examples:

1. Volunteer: Spend time helping your community and give back to those in need.

2. Meditate: During each day, take some quiet time to focus and connect with your inner self.

3. Be Kind: Simply being kind has benefits for well-being. So, perform random acts of kindness for others whenever you can. They’ll be positively impacted by it and so will you!

4. Walk in Nature: Get outside and appreciate the beauty of nature by taking a leisurely stroll.

5. Connect Spiritually: Develop a spiritual practice in-line with your belief system and bring that alignment into your life, daily.
