10 oz canned salmon, undrained
1 large egg, beaten
2 cups whole-wheat flour or
gluten-free baking flour
Heat oven to 350° F. Pulse canned salmon in a food processor or nutabullet; chop as finely as possible. In a stand mixer, combine salmon, beaten egg and the cups of flour until dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add additional flour.
Roll out dough on a floured surface until it’s about one-quarter-inch thick. Use cookie cutter of your choice to make the treats. Place treats on parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes. Cool before serving. Store in airtight container for two weeks.
