HealThy Life Seeking Donations For Stage IV Cancer Patient

HealThy Life, a Haddon Township-based non-profit, is reaching out to the South Jersey community for tax-deductible donations to support their new beneficiary, Mark Iosue. A Collingswood dad with a loving wife and four active kids, Iosue was recently diagnosed with stage IV esophageal cancer and is at the beginning of his integrative cancer journey.

HealThy Life was started two years ago when a small group of neighbors began raising funds for a friend who was diagnosed with stage IVB cancer.  With conventional medicine giving her little hope beyond chemotherapy, their friend began seeking integrative cancer treatment. These therapies were exceptionally expensive, not covered by health insurance, yet highly effective with no side effects. After only six months of treatment, her cancer was barely detectable on scans and at one year, she was in remission.

The group was moved by the knowledge that cancer treatments are not only found in the hospital, but also through diet, stress management, sleep and many other lifestyle changes that anyone can implement. This passion and dedication led to the formation of HealThy Life, a 501c3 nonprofit that provides financial assistance and education.

Location: The Linwood Health Group, P.O. Box 92, Collingswood, NJ. For more information about HealThy Life or to make a donation, email [email protected]or visit HealThyLifeNJ.com.
