Are You in Pain?

Sometimes conventional medicine—such as prescription medication—is not effective at treating chronic pain associated with certain medical conditions, such as fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. Worse still, pain relief medications, like all drugs, can have side effects, and some of them can be serious. Luckily, some people living with chronic pain find relief with complementary and alternative medicine. Here are two examples.

According to Chinese tradition, acupunctureworks to restore a healthy flow of an energy force called Chi (also known as Qi). This technique frees up your body's Chi channels, so energy can flow freely in the body, ultimately reducing your pain.

According to the National Institutes of Health, “Results from a number of studies suggest that acupuncture may help ease types of pain that are often chronic such as low-back pain, neck pain, and osteoarthritis/knee pain. It also may help reduce the frequency of tension headaches and prevent migraine headaches.”

Biopuncture is a therapy using mostly plant-based, ultra-low dilution product formulas which are injected into specific body regions to relieve pain and inflammation and promote true healing. The majority of injections are micro-injections with a very small needle just under the skin or into the muscle.
