Kangen Water Offers an Alternative to Bottled Water

According to the National Geographic Society, bottled water is detrimental to our environment.

The United States goes through roughly 50 billion water bottles a year and most of those plastic containers are not recycled. Transporting these plastic bottles and keeping them cold also burns fossil fuels, which give off greenhouse gases. About 1,500 plastic bottles are consumed every second. Enough plastic is thrown away each year to circle the earth four times and it is estimated that it would take 1,000 years for plastic to degrade. Contrary to popular belief, bottled water is not proven to be any safer than tap water. The nonprofit, non-partisan Environmental Working Group (EWG) notes, “The government does not mandate that bottled water be any safer than tap water. In fact, the chemical pollution standards are nearly identical.” Bottled waters have even been recalled due to contamination with particulate matter, mold and bacteria.

Kangen Water, an antioxidant-rich, healthy water that revitalizes cells, is a healthy alternative to both tap and bottled water.
