Master William Ting of Silver Tiger Studio, in Burlington Township, has published a new and expanded version of his popular book, Answers to Common Tai Chi & Qigong Questions.
Written in a question and answer format, the book is intended to share a master’s secrets to performing high level Tai chi and qigong, and is based on queries which came into his website for the past 15 years, as well as questions from his own classes and experience.
Ranging from simple topics to complex subjects, Ting has created a manual for students of all styles, forms and experience. Relying heavily on basic principles, good posture and internal awareness, the book is appropriate for practitioners of every level.
Ting is originally from Shanghai, China and was trained in the traditional style of classic Tai chi, studying for many years as a closed-door student of the renowned Grandmaster Lu Ji-Tang. He has more than 40 years of Tai chi, qigong, bagua and other internal arts experience. For the past 25 years he has conducted classes, seminars and private lessons in South Jersey and abroad. His mission is to share the pure art of Tai chi and qigong; therefore, he makes himself accessible to students through a teaching style that focuses on simplifying esoteric concepts in ways that everyone can understand.
