The Venus Moon: Kristen Marinelli
The Venus Moon is far more than a crystal warehouse—it is a sacred meeting place where spirit, energy and community converge. Founded by Kristen “Krissy” Marinelli, The Venus Moon has quickly become a hub for those seeking deeper connection, healing and spiritual growth.
The Venus Moon will celebrate its third anniversary with a two-day festival from 1 to 8 p.m. on October 25 and noon to 5 p.m. on October 26, featuring more than 30 vendors, workshops, performances and plenty of surprises.
“When I first opened the warehouse, I wanted it to be a space where people could feel safe, inspired and connected—not just to crystals, but to themselves and to each other,” says Marinelli.
Described as a “permanent gem show,” the warehouse offers museum-grade specimens, carvings, jewelry and bulk bins of both polished and raw stones—all at gem show prices, without the need for a license or wholesale access. Yet, what sets The Venus Moon apart is the energy infused into the space. Every crystal is labeled not only with scientific details, but also with its metaphysical properties, making it accessible to both seasoned collectors and those just beginning their spiritual path.
“I’m very careful to vet all my sources. The crystals are tools,” she explains. “They carry a frequency, a vibration and when we work with them intentionally, they can help us realign with our highest selves. But at the heart of it all, it’s not just about the stones—it’s about the healing, the awakening and the community that grows around them.”
That sense of community is further nurtured in its meeting space known as the Vortex Room. Here, up to 30 guests gather for sound bath meditations, yoga, vision board sessions, candle making and the popular Crystal Master Class. During these sessions, Marinelli not only teaches the science and history of crystals, but also guides participants through hands-on practices like creating crystal grids. The Venus Moon is also home to the Energetic Council, a network for local South Jersey lightworkers, healers and holistic practitioners to connect, collaborate and spread loving healing to others.
Her own journey is deeply intertwined with the story of The Venus Moon. Before opening the warehouse, she worked as a professional makeup artist. “From the time I was a child, though, I could feel the whispers of the unseen world, speaking often with spirits—including my beloved grandmother,” says Marinelli. “My sensitivity was both a gift and a challenge, and as I grew older I developed crippling OCD and anxiety which no amount of conventional medicine or science seemed able to ease.”
Then one day, as if by divine timing, someone placed a tourmaline crystal in her hands. “The moment I touched it, I felt an instant, almost mystical connection to its energy—a grounding presence that awakened something deep and transformative within me and I knew I had to learn more.”
As The Venus Moon marks this milestone, Marinelli reflects with gratitude and excitement. “I’m incredibly grateful to my team and to our ever-growing community of amazing like-minded souls.”
