May is when Mill Creek Apiary, in Medford, starts offering their Hive Dive Apiary Workshops. This year, they’re establishing an apiary at Stokelan Estate Winery, in Medford, so they will hold most of these events there and the rest at the Burlington County Agricultural Center, in Moorestown. This month’s workshops will be held on May 15 and 29 at the winery.

“I’m really excited about the opportunity to partner with both of them,” says owner Jason Shoff. “I think it will enhance the overall experience of visiting with the bees by having the chance to enjoy the beautiful Ag Center farm and grounds or enjoying a glass of wine afterwards at the Stokelan Estate.”

Shoff says that workshop attendees will have the opportunity to experience the bees firsthand. “We talk all things bees, suit everyone up and perform a full hive inspection. Then we taste the freshest honey right out of the hive,” he relays.
