Natural Awakenings South Jersey

The Nutritional Wellness Center

by Nancy Smith Seigle

Despite our modern lifestyle—and sometimes poor choices—the human body has a remarkable capacity for healing. The Nutritional Wellness Center (NWC) team, in Palmyra, helps patients tap into that healing potential by providing natural, holistic treatments for health conditions and disease prevention.

Addressing the needs of the body, mind and spirit, NWC patients receive individualized and specifically designed care programs to restore their overall energy balance and return to optimal wellness.

“We treat each patient like family and give the best care possible,” says Dr. Sean Inselberg, CEO and founder of the Nutritional Wellness Center. “Using a multi-disciplinary approach to treating and understanding illness, we look at all aspects of a patient’s life, not just their medical history.”

Specialized training and various disciplines allow the NWC staff of experts to assess any condition fully. Then, with a broad spectrum of treatment modalities, the team creates a successful pathway to full recovery for each patient.

“For instance, if a person comes in with food allergies or digestion problems, we want to find out why,” Inselberg adds. “Is it a digestive imbalance caused by lack of enzyme production in the gut, a vitamin or mineral deficiency, an emotional block, the quality of the food, a chemical additive, a pathogenic factor or something causing an auto-immune response?”

“There could be an emotional block connected with an allergic reaction to a food. In this situation, the emotion can be released using Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET), and the food allergy is eliminated. Using our Comprehensive Nutrition Evaluation, we can assess these imbalances and pinpoint the root factors behind a person’s symptoms and health condition.”

NWC is growing and recently welcomed Samantha Rentner to the team. In addition to nutrition, NET, reiki, therapeutic massage and Theta Healing, the center now offers acupuncture and Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy.

Acupuncture and PEMF Therapy with light, sound, color and infrared heat, is utilized for healing and regulating organ systems, decreasing pain, promoting circulation, reducing electromagnetic field toxicity, balancing the mind, reducing anxiety/depression and promoting sleep. Their unique PEMF system has advanced bio-feedback technology with brain entrainment that helps restore and balance the patient’s autonomic nervous system while measuring heart rate and pulse oximetry and continually adjusting the therapy to return body systems to homeostasis.

A complete family practice, NWC also offers heart-rate variability testing, telemedicine appointments, functional lab analysis, metabolic food panel testing, urgent care appointments (natural remedies for colds, the flu, COVID-19, bronchitis, pneumonia and more ailments), cold laser scar therapy, cat/dog nutrition visits and infrared sauna.
