The Zen Den on Main—a holistic shop inside The Center, Life in Balance, in Medford—will have its grand opening from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on October 1. There will be a free raffle for giveaways, refreshments, free gift with purchase and free tea samples. 

Located in the area formerly occupied by Heart Space Metaphysical Gift Shop, the Zen Den will carry wellness and healing products such as essential oils, minerals, gemstones, herbal teas and accessories; handmade soaps; wind chimes; singing bowls; candles; and other gifts from the Earth. A large variety of jewelry, home décor, clothing and unique books will also be available. 

“We proudly acquire most of our products from both local and global small businesses. And we strive to obtain our artesian and mined items from ethically and fairly traded sources,” explains April Willard, who is one of three co-owners of this family business—her brother, Andrew Willard, and his wife, Carol Flipse, being the other co-owners.  

“We feel blessed to welcome this beautiful family to The Center,” comments Susan Drummond, owner. “They bring a loving, gentle, healing energy that meshes so well with all of us at The Center.”
