Excitari Wellness Center Welcomes Charlotte Nussbaum

Sep 30, 2022 08:57AM ● By Nancy Seigle

Excitari Wellness Center, in Medford, recently welcomed Charlotte Nussbaum, M.D., into its collective of healing practitioners.

Nussbaum’s practice, Medford Functional Medicine, partners with people to provide personalized care through functional and evolutionary medicine, ancestral health and lifestyle changes. Most of her patients are adults and children with chronic illnesses that have not found resolution of their symptoms through allopathic medicine. Often, they feel they are eating a healthy diet and may have looked into self-healing treatments, but still haven’t been able to recover their health. She takes a fresh look at each patient to explore new avenues to further refine her patients’ lifestyles, enhancing their wellness and helping them feel well again.

Nussbaum is triple board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics and pediatric hospital medicine. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cell biology and a master’s degree in public health at University of California, Berkeley, she completed her medical degree at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She then completed a dual residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai Hospital, in New York. She worked for almost 10 years as an attending physician at South Jersey’s largest teaching hospital prior to completing the Kresser Institute’s ADAPT Functional Medicine Practitioner Training Program.

Location: 30 Jackson Rd., Ste. D-101. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 609-969-4844.
