New Yoga Classes at Excitari

Aug 31, 2022 09:00AM ● By Nancy Seigle

Excitari Wellness Center, in Medford, is offering four new specialty yoga classes: Veterans and First Responders Yoga (VETFRY) at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays; Toddler Yoga, from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on most Sundays; Yoga Mobility at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays; and Yin Yoga with Sound and Reiki Healing, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on September 30.

VETFRY will be taught by yoga and meditation instructor Justin Marx, who is experienced working with veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder. This class is offered to veterans and first responders at a discounted rate, but is open to anyone, and the first class is free. Toddler Yoga is an opportunity for little ones to learn and practice the fundamentals of mindfulness in body, breath, mind and life—encapsulated in a fun- and imagination-filled narrative. Yoga Mobility is crafted to meet the special needs of the elderly and individuals with mobility limitations, and the first class is free. And once a month, Excitari will offer a yin yoga class with reiki and sound healing. Combining these together is nurturing and can be restorative physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Location: 30 Jackson Rd., Ste. D-101. For more information including costs, visit www.ExcitariWellness.com/services/yoga-center.
