Virtua Health Offering Free Breast Health Guide

Oct 30, 2020 02:37PM ● By Shae Marcus

Every year, more than 268,000 women (one in eight) are diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is that when breast cancer is detected early, it can be treated more successfully. Virtua Health has developed a free Breast Health Guide on everything one needs to know about maintaining healthy breasts including what’s normal and what’s not, important breast cancer risk factors and nutrition and lifestyle recommendations to reduce risk.

To stay informed about one’s health, it’s important to have an annual mammogram and see a gynecologist for annual breast and pelvic exams. Since early-stage breast cancer may not present obvious symptoms, it’s important not to delay this preventive screening.

Virtua Health offices have carefully designed enhanced safety precautions, and appointments are available.
