Merchantville Medical Wellness Center (MMWC) welcomes Kristen Otto, LAc. Otto is a board-certified acupuncturist who earned her master’s degree from The Won Institute, in Glenside, Pennsylvania. She utilizes Oriental medicine modalities including acupuncture, trigger-point needling, cupping, gua sha, breathing exercises, meditation and massage techniques. This holistic approach to medicine treats the whole person to initiate healing, regeneration and rejuvenation. 

Otto treats a variety of issues including neck and back pain, headaches, migraines, sports injuries, gastrointestinal problems, women’s and men’s health, stress, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, addiction and others. 

Her background in skin care and aesthetics also allows her to offer a unique form of facial rejuvenation acupuncture, combining Eastern and Western philosophies, providing a cutting-edge approach to skin health and overall wellness. 

She is in network with some insurance plans including Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, AmeriHealth, Independence Blue Cross and soon Optum.
