Office Space Available at The Center: Life in Balance

The Center, Life in Balance, in historic Medford Village, has office space for rent. The Center provides private services with practitioners, classes and workshops focused on balancing body, mind and spirit.

Formerly a bed and breakfast, the bedrooms are now offices with private bathrooms. There is one full office available as well as shared office space. This can be very helpful to a practitioner looking to start a business or expand an existing one.

Renters also have access to the Gathering Space and Movement Studio to conduct classes and workshops. The Center is known for the variety of classes offered including, but not limited to, meditation, psychic development, grief support, tai chi/qigong and belly dancing.

“We are a loving, supportive community of wellness/metaphysical practitioners,” says owner Susan Drummond. “We welcome the opportunity to share our peace, love and joy-filled ‘home’ with new practitioners. There is a very inviting and comfortable parlor with water, coffee and tea; a lending library; and a puzzle for waiting clients. There is also a metaphysical gift shop, HeartSpace, for browsing.”

Adds Drummond: “Of course, we are taking all necessary precautions to keep practitioners and clients safe. People seem to want to be moving, so we are restarting our tai chi/qigong classes and adding yoga classes this month, limiting class size and wearing masks. We are doing our best to balance people’s needs while safely navigating our present situation.”
