Movement Magic dance studio, in Pitman, is offering new year specials to support people’s health goals. The studio offers tribal fusion belly dance and hip-hop classes—proven to balance hormones, build and tone muscles, raise metabolism and reduce back pain—for adults and kids.

The instructors follow a specific curriculum based on the teachings of Shoshana Des Chenes, a world-renowned priestess, dancer, performer and healer. These classes are unique in that they combine the beautiful history of belly dance and muscle technique—a systematic and enriching practice of women's health and empowerment.

Movement Magic owner Avianna Meck has been certified in these techniques and curriculum. Her teaching style focuses on developing technique, rhythm and self-expression through movement. There is no choreography, only music, movement and the potent bonds we make when we dance in a group.
