Live in Joy Yoga & Wellness Announces 200-Hour Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training Program October 2019
Janet Watkins and Julie Fischer, co-owners of Live in Joy Yoga & Wellness, in Audubon, are thrilled to be offering the studio’s fifth 200-hour yoga teacher training, which will take place this October. The training offers an experiential curriculum, exploring practices of yoga and the science of ayurveda. The combination of yoga and ayurveda is a catalyst of true transformation, from the physical to the deepest spiritual levels. The program’s main focuses include ayurveda, yoga asana, pranayama, physical and subtle yogic anatomy, physiology (Western and ayurvedic perspectives), Sanskrit, Vedic philosophy, mantra and meditation.
“While there is much to cover and unfold during these 200 hours, our primary goal is always to hold a safe and supportive space for each student’s individual journey and practices,” says Watkins. “This creates a strong foundation for students to truly learn and explore within as we go into these incredible, timeless teachings. Yoga teacher training is so much more than theoretical; for many it is a game-changer—it sure was for us!”
