Meet the Kress family, new owners of Medford Pharmacy, a full-service retail pharmacy specializing in compounding and alternative medicine. Rich and Lisa Kress, the pharmacists, and their two children, Maddie and Bryce, are the family behind the business. Oh, and they also consider their beloved dog, Nikkei, the third child. They live in neighboring Mount Laurel and consider themselves sports fanatics.

The husband-and-wife duo has worked in many different areas of pharmacy and carries an impressive resume of experience in both retail and compounding environments. Rich Kress has 17 years of compounding experience under his belt and specializes in custom medication regimens. They opened their first pharmacy (Kress Pharmacy) near Haddonfield more than four years ago with the intention to provide personalized service for their customers.“We feel rewarded when we can really help our patients accomplish their healthcare goals, something the big chains just don’t have the time to do,” he says. With the success of the first pharmacy, they jumped at the opportunity to take over Medford Pharmacy and expand services to the surrounding communities.

The Kress family is emphatic in the belief that each patient is unique and therefore needs an individual treatment plan. “The best way we know how to help our patients is to get to know them and work closely with their prescribers to really maximize their healthcare benefits. Medication is not a ‘one size fits all’treatment plan. So, we specialize in customized care for both human patients and their pets,” Rich further explains.

They also strongly support an integrative approach with natural and alternative treatments. Rich offers professional guidance and education on complementary therapies for customers.
