To help the growing number of people diagnosed with cancer, Melisa Skyrm, LAc, of Regenerate Health and Wellness, who has 17 years of acupuncture experience, is now offering community-style acupuncture for cancer patients from 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Mondays. It is performed in comfortable recliners in a group setting. This helps keep the cost down to help those whose income is dramatically affected by their diagnosis. 

Acupuncture helps cancer patients manage the wide variety of symptoms from treatment, can boost the immune system and can help create relaxation. The clinic is separated from the general population to protect the patients that are vulnerable due to a weakened immune system.
