The food’s the thing for the fourth annual Banquet for Birds & Blooms to benefit Friends of Rancocas Nature Center (FRNC), as this year will feature a buffet by Christopher’s Deli & Catering, of Mt. Holly, which will be serving its “Best of Burlington County” food for the evening’s supporters. Hosted again at Mt. Holly Moose Lodge #737 on March 30, from 7 to 10 p.m., the annual fundraiser helps the Friends’ ongoing efforts to sustain the Nature Center.  

“Christopher’s buffet will offer vegetarian options; and beer and wine are included (but no outside alcohol),” says event coordinator Wolf Skacel. “This casual dress event will again have a 50/50, gift baskets, raffles and a DJ with great dancing music,” says Rich Chichester, FRNC chair. 

“We want a wide variety of citizens to enjoy Rancocas Nature Center’s beauty, as well as its history, nature and educational programming,” adds Chichester. “It all helps us increase our fundraising base to keep the center open, so we’re always looking for new groups to include in our activities.”
