The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Hosts Three Out of the Darkness Community Walks

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will host three events in October with the goal of reducing the annual suicide rate by 20 percent by 2025.

The first Out of the Darkness Community Walk will be held at 10 a.m. on October 13 at Vista Deck at Cooper River Park, in Pennsauken. On October 21, attendees can head to Laurel Acres Park in Mount Laurel at 9 a.m., and on October 21, head to the Gloucester County Institute of Technology in Sewell at 8:30 a.m.

Walk with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to support new research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy and support survivors of suicide loss.
