Learn How to Make Natural Glues at Old Pine Farm Natural Lands Trust

Charles White invites you to join him at Old Pine Farm Natural Lands Trust at 2 p.m. on August 19 for a workshop on natural glues, part of their Walk in the Wild series. Guests are asked to meet at the Willoughby House.

Before guests begin experimenting with pitch glue and testing glue formulas, experts will discuss the history of glues and which ones were used by our forefathers.

White’s love of the outdoors started early in the woods of Quebec along Lake Ontario. Since then, he has campled, hiked, canoed and kayaked throughout the northeast, southeast and southwest, mostly as a solo hiker. He has organized and led many groups as they ventured into the outdoors and often refers to himself as an old boy scout.

Cost: Free. Location:340 Pine Ave., Deptford, NJ. For more information, call Charles White at 856-217-9138.
