The Linwood Health Group will host its second annual HealThy Life Track Meet and Health Expo from 5 to 8 p.m. on May 31 at the Haddon Township High School track. 

Directed by the Haddon Running Company, the track meet portion of the event features 400-meter and one-mile races for adults, 100-meter and 400-meter races for kids, and a family relay. The track meet is professionally timed and includes official race bibs, race bags, giveaways and complete race results. Registration opens at 5 p.m. and the meet will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Pre-Registration is encouraged.

The infield of the track will feature a health expo featuring music, face painting, a bounce house, plank contests, healthy food trucks, a basket auction and a 50/50 raffle. Vendors will represent multiple holistic disciplines such as juicing, alternative cancer treatment, chiropractic care, yoga and fitness, essential oils, various health coaches and toxic-free products.

The Linwood Health Group is a 501©3 charitable organization whose formation was inspired by an individual diagnosed with Stave IV incurable cancer that found a cure through alternative/holistic means. The nonprofit raises funds to assist cancer patients that are seeking holistic therapy with health costs not covered by health insurance. The Group also promotes holistic health awareness and education.
