Conscious Community Center Opens in South Jersey

Gocara, a conscious community center that offers a variety of classes, workshops, groups, services and special events designed to support healing and connection, has announced the opening of its new Williamstown location at 1620 Glassboro Road.

A refuge for people looking to connect in deeper and more meaningful ways with themselves and others, Gocara offers regular weekly yoga, meditation, qigong, art classes, energy healing, massage sessions, workshops and special events. They host groups on a variety of topics where individuals can share and learn from each other and they recently expanded its offerings to include weekend retreats.

“It’s really exciting to watch what started at Samma Vayama Well-Being continue to blossom and grow,” comments founder Drew Assini. “Things have progressed so quickly and come so far already and we are really only just getting started.”

The new location, a 3,800-square-foot renovated house, sits on just under six acres in Gloucester County. Plans for organic farming, tiny homes, yurts and expansion are all in the works. “More and more it seems like folks are becoming willing to open up, connect, heal, recover and remember,” continues Assini. “This kind of energy and these kind of experiences is what Gocara is all about.”
