Cherry Hill Library Presents Christian Science Talk ‘Breaking News: Freedom is Ours Now’

National speaker Patty Woodard will present a talk entitled ‘Breaking News:  Freedom is Ours Now’ at 2 p.m. on November 4 at the Cherry Hill Library. The talk will explain how Christian Science shows the provable relevance of Jesus' ministry in our lives today.

Woodard will discuss how a 19th-century woman named Mary Baker Eddy—who found freedom from chronic illness and other struggles in her own life—discovered a view of God and the universe that uplifts our thoughts, changes our perspective to a spiritual viewpoint, and heals. She will share examples that show how a clear view of our God-given wholeness releases us from burdens in our lives and allows us to soar.

Trained as a teacher, Woodard has pursued a career as a spiritual healer. She's lived in six states and twice in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Each new culture and environment has taught her more about God, universal love and how all people reflect God's goodness. More recently, Woodard has been active in taking her healing ministry to those in prison in Dallas, Texas, where she now resides.

Cost: Free. Location: 1100 Kings Hwy. N., Cherry Hill. For more information, call 856-429-5251 or visit CSHaddonfield.org.
