Discover the bounty that nature provides by joining Elizabeth Kligge for a free Fall Edibles Walk in the Wild at Old Pine Farm Natural Lands Trust at 2 p.m. on September 17. 

On this relaxed, guided plant walk, participants will examine roots, shoots, stems, leaves, fruits, seeds, and bark, and learn to identify and harvest wild edible, medicinal and utilitarian plants.

Safety and the caretaker’s method of gathering will be discussed.

Kligge grew up gardening and exploring the local wild places near Reading, Pennsylvania. She first learned about wild plants from her parents, and later studied primitive survival, teaching workshops across the United States.

A certified permaculture designer, she is an avid naturalist with interests in tracking, hunter-gatherer and homesteading skills.
