Natural Awakenings South Jersey

Two Hands Birth Services Now a Cooperative: Two Hands Birth Services has transitioned from a team of two doulas to a co-op of six.

Two Hands Birth Services has transitioned from a team of two doulas to a co-op of six. Jessica Ruscetta and Abby Williams have welcomed Donna Favilla, Jen Silvera, Deanna Carroll and Brandi Robertson to their team serving central and southern New Jersey as well as the Philadelphia area.

“A ‘doula co-op’ means that the doulas at Two Hands Birth Services will still operate independently, but also work closely with each other to enhance our services to families,” explains Ruscetta. “There will be more networking to further our reach and knowledge, and greater access to additional families so we can work in a wider radius.”

“The doulas at Two Hands Birth Services look forward to increasing the number of families we serve, learning more and interacting in the community,” Williams says.

Two Hands Birth Services now also offers massage services in addition to birth and postpartum doula services, lactation counseling, childbirth and breastfeeding education, and parenting support groups.
