Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Audubon: Live in Joy Yoga & Wellness in Audubon is launching a 300-hour advanced Ayurvedic yoga teacher-training program, beginning in September.

Janet Watkins and Julie Fischer, co-owners of Live in Joy Yoga & Wellness in Audubon, are launching a 300-hour advanced Ayurvedic yoga teacher-training program, beginning in September.

The 300-hour program is designed for those who completed the 200-hour yoga teacher training and “want to move into a greater understanding of life and themselves, as well gain more in-depth knowledge of yoga and Ayurveda,” says Fischer.

Fischer explains that the 300-hour curriculum will delve more intensely into the science of Ayurveda, yoga asana (including full courses in chair yoga, restorative and yin yoga), pranayama, physical and subtle yogic anatomy, physiology (Western and Ayurvedic perspectives), Sanskrit, Vedic philosophy, mantra and meditation.

“Through the experiential learning and self-awareness, yoga teachers will expand their spiritual journey and, with clarity and confidence, be able to create, sequence and teach classes that are beneficial for every student,” Fischer adds.

Early-bird discounts for registration by August –12; payment plans are available. Location: 118 W. Merchant St. For more information, call 856-546-1006 or visit LifeInJoyYoga.com.
