Webinar Spotlights the Nutritional Aspect of Addiction Recovery: Reiss will discuss “biochemical suicide prevention” and share part of her personal, spiritual journey about how “clean food,” nutrients and self-care saved her life.

“The Addiction Food Revolution” is the topic of a free, holistic health webinar sponsored by Thermographic Diagnostic Imaging (TDI)/Health through Awareness, on Wednesday, June 28, from 7 to 8 p.m. ET.

The featured online speaker is certified holistic health coach/nutrition recovery coach, educator and chef Pati Reiss. Reiss has a private Holistic Health and Recovery Coaching practice in Salt Lake City, Utah, and also provides holistic recovery training to clients long distance.

Reiss will discuss “biochemical suicide prevention” and share part of her personal, spiritual journey about how “clean food,” nutrients and self-care saved her life and helped her create “The Pro-Recovery 5-Star Diet.” She’ll include practical treatment tools and delve into “the missing link” in addiction recovery: the nutritional aspect.

Reiss’ work focuses on teaching and coaching healthy lifestyle upgrades, addiction/mental health nutrition recovery and holistic gourmet cooking. She uses nutrition, food, amino acid therapy, meditation and movement in her practice.

A graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York, she completed the Neuro-Nutrient Therapy for Addictive Disorders Training with Julia Ross, author of “The Mood Cure” and “The Diet Cure.” She is also a Certified Recovery Nutrition Coach through the Alliance for Addiction Solutions.

Reiss is currently President of the Board of Directors for the Academy for Addiction and Mental Health Nutrition, and works on staff there as a Recovery Food Educator and Nutrition Treatment Consultant.

She is also the founder of “High Vibe Recovery,” a holistic recovery coaching program, and “The Holistic Gourmet,” which offers cooking classes, retreats, food and nutrition education classes, and online food courses.
