28th Annual Pinelands Short Course: Participants can enjoy a guided van tour of the Mullica River watershed, including stops at several watershed habitats.

Stockton University of Galloway Township, in Atlantic County, will host the 28th annual Pinelands Short Course on March 11. Registration is now open for this event that features 38 presentations, including 20 new programs that explore the region’s unique history, ecology, culture and music.

Participants can enjoy a guided van tour of the Mullica River watershed, including stops at several watershed habitats. The course will also offer three on-campus field courses, featuring one program that leads students outside to learn to identify different bird species, a tour of Stockton’s ecologically based management of forests on its campus, and one course that examines biodiversity hotspots on the school grounds.
