Seventh Annual Women’s Health EXPO in Medford: Visitors can take advantage of several screenings, including blood pressure, glucose, body fat analysis, pulmonary function testing, balance, cholesterol/lipid panels, sleep apnea, asthma, peripheral art

Deborah Heart and Lung Center will host the 7th annual Women’s Health EXPO from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., February 4, at Lenape High School, in Medford. Many Deborah physicians representing various specialties will join a host of other health professionals to provide health screenings to the more than 1,000 women expected to attend this free event.

Visitors can take advantage of several screenings, including blood pressure, glucose, body fat analysis, pulmonary function testing, balance, cholesterol/lipid panels, sleep apnea, asthma, peripheral arterial disease assessment, bariatrics, wound and lung cancer information. MyoVision Scans will also be available from Performance Health Chiropractor, along with hearing screenings by NuEar, colon cancer information, sun damage assessments and HIV screenings.

Wellness activities, spa services, fitness services, cooking demos and a variety of vendors will be on hand to help women care for their heart and bodies. “Each year we work in conjunction with the American Heart Association’s Wear Red Day, explains Renee Bullock Palmer, M.D., director of the Women’s Heart Center. “We want to raise awareness about the need to fight heart disease in women.”
