Rizzieri Aveda School for Massage, in Voorhees, has been providing comprehensive instruction in the art of massage therapy since 1998. Accredited by the Commission of Massage Therapy, they prepare students to sit for licensure via the MBLEx—Massage and Bodywork licensing examination. Students can be prepared for their new career in as little as six months.

Massage therapy students are offered a diversified training approach, incorporating both eastern and western philosophies, focusing on client-centered care with instruction in techniques of relaxation, coupled with a clinical approach to massage therapy. Students enjoy an intimate learning environment with no more than 12 participants per class. In order to meet students’ needs, Rizzieri offers both full-time and flexible scheduling options, with new starts multiple times throughout the year.

Rizzieri is the only Aveda concept school in New Jersey, giving graduates access to an exclusive network of 7,000 salons and spas worldwide. Curriculum includes rituals that are exclusive to Aveda, integrating both the art and science of bodywork, teaching students a well-rounded method for promoting wellness as a lifestyle.

Additionally, the Massage Therapy program is inclusive of advanced modules, such as maternity, neuromuscular therapy, sports and myofascial. Students learn professional standards and practical business application working in the student clinic, which exposes them to all aspects of the business, giving them exceptional insight and experience upon graduation.
