Natural Awakenings South Jersey

Movie Night at Collingwood Library

GMO-Free New Jersey will host a screening of the critically acclaimed documentary, A Sense of Wonder, at 6:30 p.m., June 16, at the Collingswood Library. This event is free and open to the public.

The film depicts Rachel Carson, a pioneer environmentalist, in the final years of her life. Struggling with cancer, Carson recounts with both humor and anger the attacks by the chemical industry, the government and the press as she focuses her limited energy to get her message to Congress and the American people. An intimate portrait of Carson’s life, the film documents the rise of one of the Americas most successful advocates for the natural world.
