Good Earth Organic Eatery is now open at 600 Park Boulevard, in West Cape May. Featuring from-scratch vegan and fresh fish fare that incorporates as much local and seasonal produce in its menu as possible, the restaurant offers homemade breads, sourdough starters local wheat flour and olive oils from the chef’s own Italian olive grove.

“We are an Italian-inspired, macrobiotic eatery, which means that we give maximum attention to the quality of the ingredients that we use, how they are curated and how they are prepared,” explains co-owner and Chef Contrano Rosettani. “For example, we use all stainless steel pots in the kitchen and we don’t take any short cuts such as microwaves, canned foods or broth cubes. Everything is house-made, starting with fresh ingredients. Our food is nourishing and recalls more traditional fare from Italy that was based on whole foods, including whole grains, seasonal fresh fruits and vegetables, beans and local fresh fish. With such fresh food, you do not need to flavor it much—the food speaks for itself.”
