Anjali Power Yoga has opened its fourth location in South Jersey at 112 East Main Street in Maple Shade. Anjali’s core value is to empower people to live to their fullest potential through a physical practice that is accessible to everyone. The Power Vinyasa, Baptiste-inspired studio is heated to 92 degrees, with high humidity. Students work within their own level of fitness and flexibility for emotional well-being, health and a deeper connection to mind, body and spirit.
“What I love about this style of yoga is its simplicity,” says Wanda Gilhool, owner of Anjali Maple Shade, who, with more than 20 years of experience in power yoga, has trained all levels of yogis. “It’s a simple avenue to transformation that begins with muscles quivering, but ends with our insides trembling with possibility, the feeling of freedom and the letting go of what holds us back from our authentic self.” From those completely new to fitness to the Carolina Panthers and Red Bull Racing Team, she strives to empower all.
As part of its commitment to fostering community both within its walls and throughout Maple Shade and Moorestown, Anjali Maple Shade is sponsoring a local 5K foot race and plans to create a community garden in its outdoor space.
