New Virtua Health and Wellness Center Opens in Moorestown

In December, a new Virtua Health and Wellness Center opened at 401 Young Avenue, in Moorestown. The location includes a Health Fitness Center. As one of New Jersey’s largest health systems, Virtua has undertaken the initiative to improve the community’s access to healthcare services in South Jersey, introducing the Health and Wellness Center as an addition to the existing Virtua services in Burlington County, which comprise Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, Virtua Marlton Hospital, outpatient services and a rehabilitation center.

“Helping people be well, get well and stay well is Virtua’s mission,” says Virtua President and CEO Richard Miller. “This Center will be a destination for wellness, diagnosis, care and treatment. Everything has been designed to focus on the needs of the community, while maintaining a one-stop destination for medical and wellness services.”

The Virtua Health & Wellness Center Moorestown includes an Urgent Care Center that provides timely and convenient treatment of minor, unexpected injuries and illnesses; a fitness center; Virtua in Motion physical therapy and rehabilitation; outpatient nutrition and diabetes management programs;  physician offices and a vir tú spa. The Center will also be home to cardiac rehabilitation, diagnostic radiology and women’s imaging services such as mammography and ultrasound.
