Philip Getson, D.O

Philip Getson, D.O. is a Board Certified family physician in Marlton, NJ serving the community for over 36 years. As an internationally recognized expert in the diagnosis and treatment of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, he is a sought after speaker and has traveled extensively both nationally and internationally lecturing on the subject. Currently he serves as the medical liaison to the New Jersey Department of Health to implement the governor's bill for RSD Awareness.

In 1984, Dr. Getson was Board Certified in Medical Thermography and founded Thermographic Diagnostic Imaging (TDI). He is certified by four Thermographic Boards and has championed the cause of Thermography for the evaluation of breast disease and neuromuscular disorders. Thermography uses state of the art, FDA approved, infra-red technology, as a means to provide images of the body's physiologic responses. It is a totally safe, non-radiologic, non invasive, painless test with absolutely no known adverse affects and no contra indications.

Dr. Getson has recently been appointed to the position of Vice President of the American Academy of Thermology, the longest standing organization of Medical Thermographers of its kind in the United States. He serves as the chairman for the breast protocol committee with the responsibility of formulating the guidelines for breast thermography. These recently completed  guidelines will be used by the Academy members and offered to and approved by the International Thermographic community.

As the co-founder of Health Through Awareness, Dr. Getson offers his patients nutritional and dietary counseling, detoxification, and other holistic services. His mission is to educate individuals in the application of holistic health practices to promote early intervention to optimal health.
