La Pooch Patisserie Baking Company, in Oaklyn, offers 30 varieties of all-natural fresh baked treats for dogs and cats. All products are made from original recipes using ingredients grown in the U.S. without added preservatives, colors or flavors. Owner Erin Waldron has recently expanded the product selection to meet the growing demand for specialty items. New items include dehydrated sweet potato chips and Poochie Smoothies, a grain-free frozen treat made from organic yogurt and ingredients, and available in two flavors, chiller chicken and polar peanut butter.

“Many domestic dogs are developing allergies to mainstream ingredients found in most dog products on the market,” explains Waldron. “We are happy to offer new, grain-free baked treats that do not contain wheat, barley, corn, rye or oat. Many of our recipes are also garlic-free, sugar-free and sodium-free. We also make treats without protein or milk.”

Specialty items are also available for cats, including handmade cotton toys containing organic catnip and soft refrigerated snacks in salmon, tuna and chicken varieties.
