The Yoga Center of Medford has designed a creative movement class specifically for children ages 4 to 7. Karma Kids is offered on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

A highly interactive and gently structured class, Karma Kids is designed to enhance each child’s trust in his or her own creative expression, combining basic ballet and jazz techniques, creative movement and yoga. Dance techniques are integrated in age-appropriate ways so that participants truly enjoy their experience of dance.

“Creative play sparks the imagination in all children, offering a balance to organized sports.”says Karma Kid Leader, Miss Jessica, most classes incorporate weekly themes or stories with accompanying music and props to encourage imaginative participation.
