New Solar Canopy at Lucien’s Manor

Lucien’s Manor, in Berlin, hosts hundreds of special events and occasions every year. To help offset their energy expenses and generate additional revenue, SolareAmerica has designed a unique system combining form and function by constructing a 406.35 kW solar canopy generating 450,000+ kWh of clean, renewable energy production. The canopy will be the largest privately owned solar canopy in New Jersey as well as the largest solar project in the city of Berlin.

Covering 80% of the Manor’s electrical costs, the solar canopy system will eliminate an estimated 7,710 tons of carbon emissions or the equivalent of planting 308,400 trees over the life of the system. In addition to supporting the local economy with $3.5 million in jobs and materials, the addition of the solar canopy make Lucien’s Manor the first wedding and banquet facility on the east coast to go fully solar.

Location: 81 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin. For additional information, call 856-768-9444 or visit LuciensManor.com. For additional information about SolareAmerica, visit SolareAmerica.com.
