Plant Trees in Camden’s Butterfly Park

The New Jersey Tree Foundation, Fellowship House, Camden residents and volunteers will join forces from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 7 to plant 30 beautiful trees at Fellowship House’s new Butterfly Park. These trees will compliment the new playground and revitalized green spaces for Camden youth, primarily those enrolled in Fellowship House’s after-school program and summer camps.

Tools, training, water and gloves will be provided by the New Jersey Tree Foundation. Participants should wear sturdy shoes and clothes that can get dirty.

Location: Behind 1724 Broadway St. (on Fillmore St.), Camden. For more information or to register, call 609-238-3449, email [email protected] or visit SustainableCherryHill.org.
