Holistic by Nature, in Hammonton, is hosting a special Cryo Happy Hour event on Fridays at 5 p.m. at their detox spa, Ni-kahchi Pure. Guests will receive cryotherapy, oxygen therapy and an infused drink for $50 a person.

According to Corrente, cryotherapy—sometimes referred to as cold therapy—is known to have positive effects on those diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, dementia, anxiety, depression, migraines, asthma, chronic pain, fibromyalgia and minor tumors, while oxygen therapy helps improve focus, aids with mood swings, boosts energy, enhances sports performance, decreases stress and encourages good sleep. 

“And what would a happy hour be without drinks?” quips Corrente. “Infused waters increase metabolism, contribute to the removal of harmful toxins, play a part in balancing pH levels, improve mood and increase energy.”
