Winter Health Workshop in Moorestown

Registered Yoga Teacher and Holistic Health Practitioner Stefanie DeWysockie will teach a Winter Health Workshop/Seminar from 1 to 2:30 p.m., November 21, Acu-Health Center, in Moorestown.

DeWysockie will discuss preventative measures to keep the body healthy during the cold season, including eating a balanced diet, exercising and alternative medicine. Attendees will learn about important herbs, essential oils and other natural ingredients to have on hand to protect and build up the body’s natural defense systems during cold and flu season. Participants will make their own elderberry syrup to take home and practice how to make a steam bath to clear the sinuses and relieve congestion.

“Now that fall has arrived and winter is fast approaching, it is important to keep your body happy and healthy as the climate changes and flu season comes around,” says DeWysockie, who will also host Beginner Yoga at Acu-Health Center, and Yoga and Aromatherapy, and Yoga and Refelxology workshops at Sol Yoga, in Hainesport.

Cost: $48. Location: 100 W. Camden Ave. For more information or to register, call 609-781-6623 or email [email protected].
