Women's Self-Defense Class at Helping Touch Massage

Helping Touch Massage & Wellness Center, of Voorhees, in conjunction with Brach’s Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Team Balance, of Voorhees, will present a women’s self-defense class from 2 to 4 p.m., March 24.

Jessica Chasen and the therapists at Helping Touch are dedicated to helping others become healthy and well, and they believe that taking care of oneself includes knowing how to do that. Ken Brach, owner of Brachs MMA, has put together a self-defense seminar that is perfect for women of all ages, from teenage girls to grandmothers, to teach them what they can do to avoid potentially dangerous situations and how to defend themselves if needed. This is a perfect mother/daughter opportunity, opening the channels of communication about safety.

“All women deserve to feel confident in themselves, and knowing that you have the tools to be safe is a major step toward building that kind of confidence, which will assist them in all areas of their lives,” comments Chasen.

Cost: $10 per person suggested donation to Camden women's shelter. Pre-registration is required. Location: Brach’s MMA, 1227 Haddonfield Berlin Rd. (Rte. 561), in the 561 Plaza, Voorhees. For more information, call 856-489-1500, email [email protected] or visit HelpingTouchMassage.com.
