Rizzieri Aveda School of Massage Has a New Name, New Look and New Owner

Center Healing Arts

The school formally known as Rizzieri Aveda School of Massage is now named Center for the Healing Arts and is owned and operated by Joelle Denneler. Until taking over ownership of the school, Denneler had been an employee with Rizzieri for 20-plus years, with the last nine of those years as an instructor in the massage school.

Center for the Healing Arts, with emphasis on “center”, will offer all modalities pertaining to massage and bodywork therapy—starting with the core entry-level massage program, to continuing education for licensed massage therapists, to workshops for all. “Our goal is for the relationship between the student and the school from the day they enter the program to evolve as an ongoing relationship throughout their entire career as a massage therapist,” says Denneler. “The place to be for all students and graduates of massage therapy.”

A new popular addition to the school is a MBLEx Study Group. This course was designed to help graduates prepare for the MBLEx exam, which is required by the state for licensure as a massage therapist. The course meets one day a week for a total of five weeks. Students have found the course to be very beneficial in their preparation for the MBLEx exam.

Location: 8102 Town Center Blvd., Voorhees (right next to the Rizzieri Institute). For more information, call 856-552-2273 or visit CenterForTheHealingArtsnj.com
