“The Gyrotonic Method is the perfect way to keep your mind and body young and healthy,” says Lisa Roche, owner of Nagare, a private Gyrotonic Studio in Haddonfield.

“In Gyrotonic sessions, each movement is supported with minimal weight, allowing unrestricted movement that helps heal joints and muscles,” she notes. Roche says that movements are also choreographed to challenge the brain, which helps slow the aging process.

“During a session, an excited client told me, ‘I haven’t moved like that since I was a child!’ The client was a woman, 80 years young!” Roche recalls.

The Gyrotonic Method can also restore balance. “Seeing my older clients walk out of the studio with more confidence in each step is a wonderful feeling.”
